The city-state of Dubai has become a veritable Garden of Eden smack dab in the middle of a desert kingdom dominated by oil derricks. It is a place where money flows freely alongside the oil, and nouveau-riche oil barons have more cash than they know what to do with. So naturally they spend it on fleets of exotic, expensive, and highly-customized cars. Cars that you won’t find anywhere else in the world.

While GM has made and sold hundreds of thousands of 5th-generation Chevy Camaros, we’ve never seen one quite like this. Carscoops found this YouTube video of a pinked-out Camaro parked in front of a Dubai hotel. Does it belong to the favored mistress of a local oil sheikh, or maybe just an outlandish real estate magnate?

We don’t know, but it is definitely a hard car to ignore, even in a land oversaturated by Ferraris, Bentleys, and every other luxury brand you can think of. Patrick3331 filmed this effeminate ride somewhere in Dubai, where he apparently makes a living (or at least a hobby) out of filming rare and exotic rides. And while a Camaro in any other country outside the U.S. and Canada might elicit a lot of looks, in Dubai it is almost… pedestrian.

It isn’t that this Camaro was just painted (or wrapped with vinyl) in pink. Oh no, the grille has been whited out, there are white wheels and racing stripes, and even the spoiler is now white. On the back is either the car or its owner’s name, Mrs. Foxy, which leads us to believe that maybe this belongs to the wife of a successful businessman. Or maybe Mrs. Foxy bought it for herself. Regardless, this pink Camaro is quite the looker in the land of oil and sand.
