This Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky has won our gas station of the year award. This isn’t your ordinary station where you pump gas and leave, this gas station is a rodders paradise. Here gearheads can bench race over a beer and they can perform big smokey burnouts in the parking lot. LS Fest recently took place, the owner used his business sense along with his love for cars and allowed everyone in attendance to have a burnout party at his station. 

LS Fest is a large event and the after party is no different, the sound of cackling V-8’s filled the air as the station was packed with hot rodded GM’s. Cars such as 5th gen Camaros, 4th gen Trans Ams, and even a red 1980’s Chevy C10 could be seen doing burnouts. Some of best burnouts were done by a 1980’s Malibu which shot a mile of smoke into the air,  a red 4th Gen Camaro SS whose tires screeched like a banshee, and a red Silverado which covered the entire parking lot in a rubbery fog.

The cars that received the biggest cheers from the crowd were  a blue C6 Corvette, a red GMC Syclone and a black 4th Gen Camaro which did a burnout until the rear tires were blown off! Everyone was having so much fun, things got even better when the owner handed out free beer and cigars. A couple of oddities did occur including a religious women criticizing the burnouts as an act of sin over a PA, and a few sport bikes as well as a fox body mustang showed up to participate in the fun.
