Do you have a 5th Gen Camaro and dreams of going drag racing? We mean real racing, not messing around on the 20-inch drag radials that so many folks do. If that’s the case, you’re going to need to pick up a set of 15-inch race wheels, and dial up the folks at BMR Suspension to get all of the required gear to make those 15-inch wheels fit under the car.

They’ve scienced out a complete kit that will give you all of the parts necessary to make it happen – the new hubs, rotors, caliper brackets, emergency brake cables, and hardware are sourced using BMR Part Number BCP001. In addition to upgrading the braking system, you’ll also need to purchase BMR’s Drag Race Suspension Package, Part Number DRP007. This secondary kit includes the rest of the pieces required to make everything harmonious – a set of double-adjustable Strange Engineering coil-over shocks, new coil springs, upper spring mounts, new upper and lower control arms with adjustable rod ends, and all of the hardware needed for installation.

As is the custom with all of BMR’s suspension pieces, the control arms are crafted from 4130 chromoly, as are the upper spring mounts. The lower control arms have double-shear swaybar mounts that are not compatible with factory sway-bar end links, so to complete the system you’ll need to fabricate a set, or set yourself up with the last piece of the puzzle, BMR’s Xtreme Anti-Roll Bar, Part Number XSB004. The anti-roll bar kit includes a large-diameter hollow 1.375-inch bar that uses the factory mounting points up top and the new lower-control arm points at the bottom, heavy-duty billet sway-bar mounts, and Grade 8 hardware.

It looks like they’ve got it all figured out for you. You’ll just need to open up the wallet and dust off the credit card – or keep spinning those monster low profile drag radials down the track. Oh – you’ll need the wheels and tires too.
