Not everyone likes the same things. Some people enjoy zydeco, while others prefer dubstep. There are Ford guys, and die-hard Chevy fans (like ourselves). There are even people who have an unusual fondness for dragons, and there is even a very, very narrow slice of the Venn diagram where the dragon lovers and car fans overlap (no, not there, you pervert!)

This Camaro, currently for sale on eBay at an asking price of just under $24k, is dead center in that overlap. As “Anytime Frank” Gerard of Sunset Motors says in the video, “If you like dragons, this is your car…”

In mechanical terms, it’s a fairly unremarkable car;  just another 1LT 6-cylinder automatic, though it is in the somewhat-uncommon Synergy Green factory hue. It’s got some custom touches like a billet grille and aftermarket wheels, but the real star of the show, of course, are the dragons (or maybe it’s the same dragon – we’re not experts at telling individual dragons apart) airbrushed on the sides.

Take a moment to realize that, regardless of your personal like or dislike of the artwork, this was exactly what somebody wanted. They made the conscious decision to do this, and were probably very pleased with the result. Why they had to part with something so personalized, we can’t even guess, but it’s safe to say that it was probably a sad day for them.

Fortunately, we don’t all have to like the same things, and somewhere out there, there’s a person who would see this Camaro and be as enthusiastic about it as the person who originally created it was. The trick for Sunset Motors is finding that person. And Frank, a personal note: I am going to be in Tennessee this time next month, and if this Camaro is still unsold, I will be coming to see it in all its glory in person, and I want a test drive. Be prepared…
