Perusing the extensive SEMA Show, we caught up with Quickjack to see what they have in store for 2016. We spoke with Quickjack’s Tyler Flores, who was demonstrating its new BL-3500 and BL-5000 portable car lift systems.
“Our new units are super portable and feature casters on one end,” said Flores. “Two years ago, we completely swapped out our power units to make them faster, able to lift in 30 to 45 seconds. The fittings have been replaced with quick connects and a no-leak system to keep hydraulic fluid from spilling out. It comes with four tall and four small blocks that are cut with a V-groove for pinch welds and tube chassis.”
We had the opportunity to see the internal components of Quickjack's new portable lift system.
The BL-3500 system is capable of lifting any vehicle up to 3,500 pounds and features a platform lifting height of 16.75 inches on the frame or 20 inches when the vehicle is on blocks. With a lift time of only 10 seconds, the BL-3500 is a quick and nimble lift unit for smaller applications, such as a roadster or two-door vehicle.
Quickjack allows lift capability in virtually any open space.
The BL-5000 system has a 5,000-pound lift capacity and has a platform lifting height of 18.5 inches on the frame or 22 inches with the vehicle on blocks. Providing a fast and easy way to get your vehicle up in the air, the Quickjack systems provides an alternate way for users to work on vehicles in essentially any garage or open space.
