TSW Wheels is offering several new wheel designs, as announced at the 2016 SEMA Show. The Sprint and the Circuit are two of the new wheels and are both aimed at sports cars, and we totally dig ’em.
The Circuit
Left: matte gunmetal with a gloss black face. Right: titanium silver with a mirror cut face.
The Circuit wheel is actually rotary forged–the face is cast and the barrel is spin forged, making the barrel lighter and stronger. “On a comparably sized and designed wheel, the rotary forged wheel is about a third of the weight less than a regular cast wheel,” said Augy Nieves of TSW Wheels. “With that, acceleration and braking are enhanced and we are able to use wider fitments.”
The Circuit is offered in 17-20 inch diameters and 8-10.5 inch widths. The Circuit’s finishes really caught our eye, as they are offered in matte gunmetal with a gloss black face or titanium silver with a mirror cut face. They are offered in 5×108, 5×100, 5×112, 5×114.3, 5×115, and 5×120. Matching center caps are included, but for cars with a 5×120 or 5×112 bolt pattern, the OEM center caps will fit also.
The Sprint
Left: gloss black with a mirrored machined face. Right: matte gunmetal finish.
The new Sprint wheel is offered in a matte gunmetal finish and gloss black with a mirrored machined face. TSW has also began to improve their aesthetics with slots in the sides of each spoke, in order to just add more dimension to each wheel.
The Sprint is offered in 5×100, 5×114, 5×120, and 5×108, with diameters ranging from 17-20 inches. The widest it comes is 10-inch and offers ample caliper clearance space, fitting most big brake kits. The Mercedes-Benz and BMW applications will fit the OEM center caps, as well.
