The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and the National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park (NCMMP) have inked a deal for the facility to host the new Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals for the next 10 years.
The 2019 SCCA Time Trial Nationals is a coast-to-coast national-level Time Trials competition with rounds held at 10 of America’s best and most challenging tracks. The year-end finale will be conducted at the NCMMP through 2028.
The Time Trials Nationals events will not be a points-gathering series, but rather several one-off events similar to the Tire Rack Solo Championship Tour.
The first Time Trial Nationals was run in 2018 as a single event, one-time event to gauge interest. The event drew 123 drivers from across the U.S. to the NCMMP facility. Each of the drivers competed in eight separate events, with the best HotLap and TrackSprint times from each day counting significantly toward the drivers’ overall placements.

The National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park is directly across the highway from the Corvette Museum and the GM Bowling Green plant.
At this point, eight other tracks have been announced: Pittsburgh International Race Complex, PA; High Plains Raceway, CO; Carolina Motorsports Park, SC; Portland International Raceway, OR; GingerMan Raceway, MI; Heartland Motorsports Park, KS; Thunderhill Raceway, CA; and Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, CT.
NCM Motorsports Park is situated across from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Opened in 2014, the facility features a 3.15-mile road course, an autocross paddock, Holley Control Tower, day and annual lease garages and a karting facility.
