Nearly 20 minutes of tire shredding action and jumping LS-powered off-road trucks is what’s in store for you in the video above. Through the lens of the guys at The Hoonigans, we have the pleasure of re-living LS Fest West presented by Holley Performance Products, which took place just a few weeks ago in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Throughout the video, you’ll probably see a handful of cars we featured in our daily coverage, including some of the coolest drift cars that were there (and yes, they were absolutely LS-powered). For starters, you may recall this Hoonigans favorite, Josh’s turbocharged 5.3-liter V8 swapped Toyota Hilux.
Josh’s Hilux is pumpin’ out tire smoke like no one’s business, and that “little” 5.3-liter V8 is no joke.

Of course, Cleetus Mcfarland made an appearance on The Hoonigans’ Daily Transmission LS Fest West episode as well. Cleetus is known for bringing the fun, and that came in the form of none other than Leroy, his 427ci twin-turbocharged LS-powered ‘Vette cart.
If trucks are your thing, and more specifically, trucks jumping ramps, skip to about six minutes into the video and watch a white crew-cab Silverado smack its front clip on the pavement (and then again on a concrete divider, coming to a stop). Just after the ten-minute mark, you’ll find our friend Jeff Kay’s twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 swapped Mazda truck, aka Stock_ish. Jeff went so hard that the engine got hot enough to melt the oil filler cap. Check out the full video above and tell us which LS-powered ride was your favorite.
