John Urist’s Hellion Power Systems has been on the map with turbo kits for late model Mustangs for years, building fully engineered systems that are well-packaged and efficient. What a lot of people don’t know, though, is that Hellion also builds equally nice systems for 5th Gen Camaros as well – as a matter of fact, at this year’s SEMA show, Urist himself showed us around the new Eliminator top-mount twin turbo system for 2010-up Camaros.

TurboSmart CompGate 40mm wastegates ride herd on boost levels, while TurboSmart Vee Port relief valves control backpressure on the cold side.
The system centers around a pair of Precision Turbo 62mm turbochargers with billet compressor wheels. Unlike Hellion’s previous Camaro system, the Eliminator puts the turbochargers high in the engine bay; if you ask us, this is a much nicer looking layout in general, and it makes oil drain-back a non-issue. Headers are custom 4-into-1 stainless, with V-band turbo connections for easier installation. Per Urist, on a built LS3 block that can handle the power, the turbos will support 1,250 rear wheel horsepower.

The intercooler is an air-to-air vertical flow unit with dual inlets. Put away the cutoff wheel – the kit installs without hacking up your Chevy.
Installation requires no cutting, and based on our previous experience with Hellion turbo kits, installation should be straightforward.
