As time marches on, the more we anticipate the 2014 Chevy SS sedan here in the states. Even for a car without a real name, we haven’t seen this much hype about a new model since the 2010 Camaro. Rightfully so, since it become only the fourth vehicle in GM’s current entire North American portfolio that would feature a V8 and rear wheel drive.

You sometimes have to wonder what goes on through a GM engineer's head when he's being video recorded driving a prototype vehicle.
On August 17th, 2012 a film crew from Australia’s The Motor Report managed to catch some footage of two Holden VF sedans cruising down a highway wrapped in the infamous manufacturer camo wrap. The finer details of the styling are obviously still unknown as of this writing, and so are many of the mechanical facts.
Some things that do stick out are the pull-to-open door handles, fender mounted turn signals, and dual exhaust. The rear taillights also look to incorporate amber turn lenses as well. Whether this is going to be standard fare on both the Holden and Chevy is unclear at this time.
However, with this latest footage, we now at least know the basic shape and size of the car, and that testing is still progressing. The only things we are counting on is excellent performance from a 400hp+ LS-based engine, superb quality, impressive handling, and ultimately, a massive aftermarket. We can’t wait until this thing hits our shores, and of course, we’ll continue to bring all of you more information as it becomes available.
Though there were technically two cars in this video, they were essentially identical, and we grabbed the best screenshots we could get for your viewing pleasure.
