D3 Cadillac is one of the leading builders of modified Cadillacs – mostly CTS-Vs – and they are not taking their competition sitting down. We’ve seen them in action, and to say that the cars they build are monstrous would be a bit of an understatement. You may think to yourself, “OK, big deal, they took a blown Caddy and slapped a few bolt-ons on them and called it a day.” If you think that you’re way off, son.
Oh, and those “wings” are fully functional too. When being stacked up against their Japanese and German rivals on the Sonoma, California racing circuit at the Cadillac Challenge, Porsches, Ferraris, S2000s, and RX7s fall one by one. We even caught a glimpse of an early SN95 Cobra Mustang getting left in the dust by one of the D3-built Caddys, even though that’s not much of a surprise.
The video hosted on this page was shot back in May and was just sent to us last week by a representative of D3, and we gotta say we dig it. Unfortunately, we don’t really get to hear any screeching tires or screaming engines from the cars, but there is a dubstep beat throughout the video, if that’s your thing. If not, turn the YouTube audio on mute, select one of your favorite jams on iTunes, and enjoy the video.

Porsches of all types and eras fall victim to these Caddys. The video shows these Vs throwing down against late-model GT3s and Boxters too. If you’re a regular at any California racetracks, you better come prepared! Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
