Consistency is everything. SKINNIES’ Twin Turbo LSx fox body Mustang dominated virtually all of its opponents in 2014.
Posted on 1320, this video is a collection of all the 2014 Cash Days street race. Under the hood of this snow white mustang is a 408ci LS engine swap with twin 78mm dual ball bearing turbochargers, a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission, Performance Torque Converter, and a Holley Dominator electronic fuel injection system.
Power output is ridiculous from SKINNIES’ Mustang, rated at 1100hp with 21psi boost. Nothing spells out Cash Days 2013 winner than an engine block that is wrapped with a money decal.
Furthermore, the Mustang has 3.27 gears and a 8.50-point legal roll cage kit. With all of these modifications, the result is a Mustang that is consistent across the board. From the drag strip to the streets, SKINNIES’ Mustang is nothing short of extraordinary.
As shown in the video, the Mustang raced a 1000hp turbo LSX truck, 550hp nitrous fox body Mustang, and an 800hp nitrous LSX fox body Mustang. Regardless, SKINNIES’ Mustang left each one in the dust, making it look all too easy.
Although the Mustang is dethroned by a 1150hp nitrous fox body Mustang, it was a close race, where it only lost by a tenth of a second. No matter who it faced, SKINNIES’ Mustang was always prepared to compete, regardless of who revved next to it.
Truly a pristine build, SKINNIES’ Mustang looks to only need a few things tuned to make it even more a monster. Clearly, it is grounded, never losing control down the drag.
Maybe it could use a bit more downforce to keep the beast in check. What are your thoughts on this insane fox body Mustang? Be sure to share your thoughts below. And don’t forget to check out SKINNIES’ Facebook page to see more videos of this Mustang.
