Yup, you read that title correctly. What if a Holden Maloo Ute was modeled after the loud, massive, green, ill-tmpered superhero character we all know and love? Apparently it’s already happened in Australia, and we have proof of it courtesy of a series of videos that we found on YouTube.
The Ute in question is this green example we’re showing you here, a VE model, packing 454ci. of LSX that makes a total of 599.6 rwhp naturally-aspirated. We’ve included a walk-around also, so you can take in all of the mods that are visible under the green Maloo’s hood.
According to the description, the Maloo has an extensive list of modifications that include; the aforementioned 454 LSX, Higgins ported and polished heads with 11.5:1 compression, a custom camshaft, a FAST 102mm intake & fuel rails, APC headers, and Di Filippo twin 3″ exhaust and other odds and ends.
The dyno-proven horsepower was captured on video during the NQ Nationals, in Cairns, Far North Queensland, Australia. The show itself is an awesome one, filled with classic and late-model musclecars alike, perfect for our friend with the 600rwhp VE ute.
This Maloo has plenty of other appearance items also, such as the Walkinshaw hood scoop, HSV guards, and aftermarket front and rear bar, and side skirts. We wish we could get our hands on some quarter-mile runs, or even an Aussie-style burnout video, but we’re not that lucky.
