Holley has announced that their pre-registration for this year’s LS Fest is now live, and that they’re working hard to prepare for their sixth year of LS celebration. The event’s location will be the same as last year’s, which is the Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. If you’re not familiar with LS Fest, they’re dedicated to everything GM LS and current generation LT related. They also host some pretty crazy events, like drag racing, autocross, a show-n-shine, and a dyno challenge, just to name a few of them. Here’s a few of the details Holley has released as of the present time:
Integration of the NCM Motorsports Park road course for new event “LS Fest Track X” (more information can be found here)
- New drag racing classes for 2015: Late Model Heads Up, Street King, and Chevrolet Performance Stock.
- Autocross and 3S Challenge cap limits have been increased to a 150 car limit from last year’s 125.
- One day spectator pass is $15 at the gate. (We recommend shelling out an extra $15 and shooting for the three-day pass for $30)
- Holley LS Fest Grand Champion – This event is for anyone who can do the best all around job in all the events. Extra points are awarded for participating in the Show-N-Shine, and the grand prize is $1,000 cash and includes some other goodies!
We’re just as excited as you all are to see the action this year at LS Fest. By the time you’re reading this, you’ll have less than 86 days to register – so get to it!
